PRESS GUIDELINES

  Thank you for your interest in becoming an official press member for KISUUCON. To obtain press credentials, please submit your application for review. Before applying for a press pass, be sure to carefully read all our policies and restrictions available down below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us at admin@kisuucon.com. Please note that all press credentials must be approved before the convention, and no on-site approvals will be granted. 

• Press credentials will provide you with a standard adult weekend pass, as well as exclusive benefits such as:
• Special access to film or capture press coverage in exhibit halls, main events, panel rooms, and gaming areas.
• Access to the interview room (only during scheduled interviews or open press interviews).
• Access to any additional areas specified by the Press team. If any new areas are added, all approved press outlets will be notified before or during check-in at the event.

Please note that press credentials do not cover lodging, food, or financial support. Press representatives are responsible for securing their own accommodation, sustenance, and finances. The press pass provides entry to the event and press access, where applicable.

If you belong to any of the following categories, feel free to submit an application for press credentials:

• A local news, arts, entertainment, or general reporter
• Blogger, podcaster, YouTuber, freelancer, or content creator in the anime industry
• An influencer in the anime field
• Any other editorial professional not explicitly listed

  The following individuals are NOT eligible for press credentials:

• Sales representatives
• Non-editorial creative personnel or professionals
• Students working on school documentaries or projects
• Friends or family members of a press representative

Approval for all press credentials is solely at the discretion of the KISUUCON Press Team.

• All press credentials MUST be approved before the event by the KISUUCON Press Team. On-site approvals will not be granted. Completion of this application is not confirmation or a guarantee of a press pass.
• Press passes are non-transferable.
• Press passes do not grant privileges beyond those listed above or provide the same privileges as staff, volunteers, dealers, artist alley, industry, guests, or any other credential issued for the event.
• Press passes must be obtained at KISUUCON Press Registration on-site, and none will be provided to individuals not approved before the event.
• Those granted press credentials must present a photo ID and/or media outlet credentials (if applicable) at KISUUCON Press Registration.

• All press credentials MUST be approved before the event by the KISUUCON Press Team. On-site approvals will not be granted. Completion of this application is not confirmation or a guarantee of a press pass.

Failure to comply with any of the above policies will result in your prompt removal from the event, and you or your outlet will not be permitted to reapply or conduct any press-related activities at future events. Your understanding and adherence to these guidelines are greatly appreciated.
